Assignment

The assignment for this week will be a review of the Powers of Congress. Specifically I will guide you to look at the “Expressed Powers of Congress. You will need to log on to our student e-book and access Chapter 5 Section 2. Read the following sections, “Defining the Powers of Congress” & “Expressed Powers of Congress”. The following questions are things I would like for you to think about once you have read those sections: 

1. What is the purpose of deficit financing? Is this being seen in our current situation with the Federal Stimulus package?

2. How has Congress tried to limit the president’s ability to fight wars without congressional approval?

Purpose

To review the Expressed Powers of the Legislative Branch. Also, to take things we have discussed in the school year and compare them to the current events of today.

Assignment

For this week’s assignment I want you to create a “Shout-Out” video to the Class of 2020. They are the class missing out on so many events, Spring Sports, Prom, and Graduation to name a few. So make a video with some highlights of this school year and include a special shout out to our seniors.

The Guidelines are as follows:

1. Create a 1-4 Minute Video

2. Include pictures (spice it up and use cool fade options)

3. Include text

4. Include music (fade in and out)

Troubleshooting Tips:

• Make sure you use the “ + “ symbol at the bottom and add Layer 2, Layer 3, and Layer 4 of Video

Purpose

To continue developing video editing techniques.
