FOYIL ENROLLMENT OPTIONS 2020-2021

Foyil Public School is committed to educating all students in a varying and safe environment that fits the needs of our students and comfort level of our stakeholders.  The safety and well-being of our students, staff and community is the focus as we prepare for the start of the school year.  As with all matters dealing with COVID-19, information can change quickly, therefore this is a preliminary plan that could change within hours, days or weeks. Classes will resume on Thursday, August 20, 2020 for all Foyil students. These are the two options offered by Foyil Public Schools.

  • All Students PK-12

  • In-Person Learning

  • Traditional classroom learning with opportunities for technology-enhanced activities

  • Access to libraries & materials

  • Access to counseling , social & emotional learning supports

  • Instructional support all students including IEP, ELL, 504

  • Access to child nutrition program

  • School transportation provided, but parent transport is suggested if possible

  • PK-5 online instruction via Exact Path

  • 6-12 online instruction via Edgenuity

  • Students grades 7-12 may participate in extracurricular activities

  • A one semester commitment is required

  • Device will be provided, only if needed

  • All students will be enrolled in Foyil Public School as “traditional on-site instruction” unless the school is contacted.

  • Due to the constantly changing requirements of the state & local health departments, specific details regarding the safety protocols for on-site learning will be provided as we draw closer to the start of school.
