Elementary Updates

I wanted to update all our families on events that will be taking place at Foyil Elementary in the near future.  With as many disruptions that we have had, a few changes have been made and I want everybody to be aware of them.

With the snow days that were already built in to our school calendar, we need to make up 5 days because of the snow/ice cancellations we had in the last couple weeks.  These will be made up on Fridays, and will be distance learning days.  Teachers will inform students of what is expected on these days, and will be available for questions that may arise.  The dates that will be made up are:

Friday, March 5^th
Friday, March 26^th
Friday, April 9^th
Friday, April 16^th
Friday, April 23^rd

A breakfast and lunch for Friday will be sent home with students Thursday afternoon.

We have started advertising PreK/Kindergarten enrollment for the 2021-2022 school year.  This will take place on March 11th from 8:30 – 3:00 in the elementary office.  If you know of any children that need to enroll for next year, have them come on Thursday, March 11th.  Students that are already enrolled in our PreK and Kindergarten program need not attend.  If you have any questions regarding enrollment, call the office at 918-342-3310.

For students already enrolled at Foyil Elementary, enrollment packets for the 2021-2022 school year will be sent home March 24^th.  We must receive those back to ensure your child is enrolled for the upcoming year.

The end of the third quarter has changed to March 11^th and report cards will be going home March 25^th.  This was changed to make the amount of days in each quarter more equal.

Spring pictures will be March 8^th.  These will include the spring individual pictures, class pictures, and Kindergarten graduation pictures.
