On Monday, December 13th, Foyil National Honor Society and Student Council had the opportunity to serve, to sing, and to skate. In the morning, the NHS and Student Council went to Foyil Elementary and read Christmas books to the younger students. Then, they stopped at the Claremore Veterans Center for some caroling. Each of the two groups of students went to different floors, singing "Rudolph" and "Jingle Bells" and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas". After expressions of appreciation from the Veterans and staff, the students loaded onto the bus for a trip to the Tulsa Oilers practice arena for some ice skating. Many students enjoyed the ice skating, and they enjoyed the performance of a former Gold Medalist Ice Skater. The full day was ended with a brief stop at Baskin Robbins for some ice cream.
