GUIDELINES FOR ROGERS COUNTY FARM BUREAU SCHOLARSHIP
(4) $500 scholarships to be given as $250 per semester for one year.
A. Only Rogers County Farm Bureau member families are eligible. Excluding family members of Board of Directors, Women's and YF&R Committee members, Agents, employees of any county farm bureau and Oklahoma Farm Bureau.
B. Must be a High School senior or Graduated (GED equivalent) or presently enrolled in college, vo-tech, or trade school. Post Graduate studies excluded.
C. Applicant may be eligible for a scholarship for more than one year, but must submit an application each year.
D. Be required to carry a minimum of 12 hours per semester or equivalent in technical or trade school. (Verification is required each semester)
E. Grade point requirement for high school and college students is 3.0 cumulative.
F. Application must be filled out completely
G. A certified copy of your transcript from high school or college covering last semesters work must be submitted with application.
H. Three letters of recommendation must be submitted from a counselor, current or former teacher, minister, or current or former school administrator with application
I. All recipients will be notified by mail no later then May 1st.
J. Scholarship funds will be mailed to the recipient, but made payable to the recipient and the college, or trade school. Scholarships will be in the amount of $250 per semester (total $500 per year). Recipient is required to maintain a 3.0 cumulative GPA and carry a minimum of 12 hours. Verification will be required of GPA along with proof of enrollment second semester before a check will be issued.
K. Application must be in Rogers County Farm Bureau office by April 16th of the applying year
